Doja Cat‘s Tweets need to be approached with caution!

Known for her playful and sometimes unpredictable online presence, the artist likes to keep her followers guessing with her unconventional tweets and actions. However, after keeping everyone in suspense for so long before finally announcing her album name, her recent stunt did not go down well.

Doja Cat’s Name Change Stunt Fails To Impress Fans

In her latest bout of Twitter shenanigans, the rapper – real name, Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, stirred up intrigue by declaring her alleged new stage name as “Emcee Flapchunks the Third.” She took to the social media platform to make the surprising announcement, leaving fans and followers puzzled.

“My stage name is no longer Do a Cat. It Emcee Flapchunks the 3rd, and you’ll address me as such,” the singer tweeted. Adding to the confusion, the singer followed up her name change with the cryptic message that read, “fell for it.”

Her fans must not have been in the mood, as most of the responses to her prank were borderline, not impressed. Like this user who wrote, “You have to change your album name to “mental issues” or simply find a therapist.” Another person went as far as to wish her a bad day because she made them change their “passwords from dojacathater to emceeflapchunkshater.”

Another netizen drily asked, “Are we supposed to laugh? Like..,” while someone else expressed how much the model’s actions hurt her with harsh words, “No one will ever love you until your sense of humor matures, my god 😭.”

A fifth chose to address her by the new name, but in a way, one would do to an intoxicated person, “Okay, okay, Emcee Flapchunks the 3rd, let’s get you to bed.” A sixth impatiently asked her to “stop with the nonsense tweeting and drop an album,” while a fed-up fan wrote, “She be doing too much 🙄.”

While the “Say So” singer might sometimes irritate her fans, she occasionally gets it right with them, like when she finally unveils the title of her upcoming fourth album. Scheduled for release later this year, the new project is set to showcase a different dimension of Doja’s artistry as she delves into her rap influences and showcases her rap skills.

After months of speculation, with some guessing that it was either Hellmouth” or “Kiss Me More,” the chart-topper, in a tweet, wrote, “It’s not called Hellmouth either. It’s called “First of All,” and yes, I’m announcing the album title right now.”
